5 Colorful Minimalist Wall Art Print Ideas for your Living Room.

When you talk of Minimalist Wall Art Prints, the first thing that comes to your mind is boring and sometimes dull, Black and White wall hangings.

Today, I am going to share with you 5 Colorful Minimalist Wall Art Photographs that you can use to decorate your dull and boring living room environment with.

All of these Minimalist Photographs were clicked outside a Kindergarten School in Jaipur City. So without waiting any further, here are the Photographs:

5 Colorful Minimalist Wall Art Print Ideas (Photographs) for your Living Room:

A Word on the Composition of the Photograph:

What I was looking to create here was a Minimalist Photograph with Four Colors, each one getting enough attention and yet, not climbing over each other or crowding the frame. To make the Red Color behave, as it could have easily over powered my frame, I placed it on the top right corner of the frame. Placing the Blue color was a bit of a challenge. I had to place the Blue colored section with care. It should have been neither too high nor too low. In the end how I placed it, is exactly how I wanted.

A word on the Composition of the Photograph:

Here, I wanted to make the closed Red Door as the primary subject in the Minimalist Photograph. I let the other elements fall in place. To decide as to how much of the Blue wall portion I needed in the frame, I had to constantly bend up and down. Finally, I kept it around say 40%.

A word on the Composition:

My intent here was to only show a pair of two colors i.e Blue and Red. The idea was to keep the color palette very Minimalist. I zoomed out, then zoomed in, then I  moved closer towards the wall and then I adjusted my shot yet again. I did fiddle a lot actually. Sometimes, when you are shooting something as simple as the Minimalist Frame above, you tend to mess it up, for you assume it is too easy. Trust me this happens.

A word on the Composition:

Just like the Minimalist Photograph prior to this one, the idea here again was to have a very Minimalist Color Palette and restrict the total number of colors in the frame to two, namely Red & Yellow. I gave the Red color slightly more space in the frame. Red being my favorite color I did have a bias for it.

A word on the Composition:

After the Red color, Yellow is a second favorite color of mine, especially when it comes to using that color in Minimalist Photographs. Maybe because, this is the color I find most in my city (Jaipur) after the traditional ethnic pink(orange-ish pink actually). Again the color palette was kept Minimalist here  and the Yellow color was give a larger share in the frame.

I am Back :) but with a Simple Geometry Minimalism photograph this time around.

These Colorful Diagonal Lines, were spotted on a closed metal shutter of a Shop, right opposite to the famous Hawa Mahal Palace in Old Jaipur City.

I clicked this with my Canon 600 D and the 100mm Prime Macro Lens that I have.

I captured this from the side and used a shallow depth of field to create a different sort of a imagery that I usually do not produce.

I rarely use shallow depth of field (at least as of now, lol...no by the way since the last 4 years ).
That frequency might change in the future though.

Hope you like this subtle change in my style.

All feedback about the Photograph is welcomed.

Have a good day !!

I have to cut it short today, as the lights just went off and my laptop might turn off pretty soon.

Bye ! See you Later !

Tri Color Minimal

Minimalism as Few Distinctive Colors

Its been long since I did a Minimalism as Few Distinctive Colors Photograph.

So I decided to post one today.

This Tri Color Minimal Photograph was clicked at Jawahar Kala Kendra Jaipur (stop wondering as to how I find most of my shots at the same place?) .

This is a Lookup Minimal Shot

The Kit that I had that day, was my Canon 600D mounted with the 50mm F1.4 Prime lens

I was shooting a Metal fan against a maroon tent sitting down on my knees. And while I was struggling to get the simplicity right in that shot, I casually looked over my left shoulder to spot this.

I immediately thought It would be a nice idea to combine three colorful tents in one frame.

The use of lines gave more symmetry to the shot.

Not sure, if this would have looked good in Black and White, so I did not try and edit it that way.

I Hope that you find this colorful shot a little upbeat.

See you around next time.

Take care

These shots were taken at Cafe Lazy Mojo in Jaipur. I was there for an Art Meet organized by Kala Kartavyaa.

The Art meet was actually on Fashion and the theme was Lifestyle.

Fashion Bloggers/ Models and Photographers were invited to the meet.

I dint have much to do there.

I got a few tips on Fashion and soon I was done listening.

I was getting itchy to click, so I moved outside with my Camera.

I had my Canon 100 mm Prime Macro L Series Lens mounted on my Canon 600D Camera that day.

So I thought why not take some Look-up Minimal Shots.

Cafe, Lazy Mojo has this Pete Mondrian Style designed roof front.

I thought it would be a nice Idea to click some "Minimalism as Few Distinctive Colors" shots.

This category of Minimalist shots are always hard to find.

While, I was editing, I decided to post a series of 3 shots this time, unlike my style of posting only 1 best shot from the shoot.

Since, it was about colors, therefore I chose 3.

The composition of the Shots is pretty simple  and self-explanatory.

Nothing much to say here. The major part is to find the Subject/Building with multiple colors and more than half of the job is done for you.

Apply a few basic rules of Photography like the Rule of Thirds etc and you are good to go.

Hope, that you enjoyed the shot.

Show me yours :)

Good Day !
