A Colorful Minimal Art Photograph of Zig Zag Lines at Jawahar Kala Kendra, created with by Light and Shadow.

Some Lines here are going to the right, some to the left and if you carefully see, there is a T-Point on the Top right of the frame.

I have kept the Photo colored this time, as the Color Palette popped quite nicely, mainly due to Light and Shadow.

This photograph is all about how I have seen the subject and carved out a frame. It's pure perspective.

And This is Simple Geometry at play. The Picture is full of Lines. The Technical specifications are mentioned below.

The EXIF Data of the Photo is as follows:

These shots were taken at Cafe Lazy Mojo in Jaipur. I was there for an Art Meet organized by Kala Kartavyaa.

The Art meet was actually on Fashion and the theme was Lifestyle.

Fashion Bloggers/ Models and Photographers were invited to the meet.

I dint have much to do there.

I got a few tips on Fashion and soon I was done listening.

I was getting itchy to click, so I moved outside with my Camera.

I had my Canon 100 mm Prime Macro L Series Lens mounted on my Canon 600D Camera that day.

So I thought why not take some Look-up Minimal Shots.

Cafe, Lazy Mojo has this Pete Mondrian Style designed roof front.

I thought it would be a nice Idea to click some "Minimalism as Few Distinctive Colors" shots.

This category of Minimalist shots are always hard to find.

While, I was editing, I decided to post a series of 3 shots this time, unlike my style of posting only 1 best shot from the shoot.

Since, it was about colors, therefore I chose 3.

The composition of the Shots is pretty simple  and self-explanatory.

Nothing much to say here. The major part is to find the Subject/Building with multiple colors and more than half of the job is done for you.

Apply a few basic rules of Photography like the Rule of Thirds etc and you are good to go.

Hope, that you enjoyed the shot.

Show me yours :)

Good Day !

She loved, loved so truly like no other ever could. It was limitless. He betrayed her. She was so shattered and devastated that she decided not to ever love again. She built Walls all Around Her to protect herself but the walls she built were so big that she did not leave room for anyone to ever get in. Once bitten twice shy, and therefore she over-did it. She could not help it. She continues to live a lonely life. Yes, that's her story.

Composition

The photo falls under the Minimalist Photography Category: Minimalism as Less Elements. The photo contains only two elements:

a) Orange Wall and
b) The Green Window

It was very tempting to shoot the entire window, but to make it represent a person, I decided to gave it eyes, using the two black rectangles. The orange wall was dull and tricky to edit. I had to increase the vibrancy quite a bit.

Unkempt Indian Wall

Minimalism as Few Distinctive Colors

Contrasting colors on an old textured unkempt Indian wall in Jaipur. Walls are one of my favorites to click. India is full of such multicolored unkempt textured walls. You can find them almost anywhere. The highlight of the composition is the placement of the blue rectangle on the top left corner. It lifts the entire image single handed. That nail in the center wanted to grab some attention as well but, he is probably having a bad day. This shot falls under the minimalism category of "Few Distinctive Colors", the colors being, blue, yellow and orange.

The Setting Sun

Minimalism Type: Zeroism

An Abstract Minimalist Photo of the Rays of the setting sun on a cars roof.

A Abstract Minimalist Photo comprising of the Rays of the setting sun falling on top of the roof of a car, creating an abstract sunset image.

This shot was taken on a late evening, while I was just outside the main gate of my house. The sun was about to set in in about 20 minutes. I spotted this unique imagery being created through its slanting rays being reflected on the roof of the car about two feet away. I decided to zoom in a bit and boom, I had this wonderful Sunset Zeroism photograph. Such kind of subjects, either you spot or you dont. It comes with a lot practice.

As a Minimalist it takes a lot time, developing a vision related to the 8 Types of Minimalism mentioned in the blog.

Practice is Key. This took about 10 minutes to edit. I increased the vibrancy and a bit of saturation. Also, some bit of sharpness was added.
