Photographs of Water Ripples are usually found in Zen Books.

The photo above titled "Water Ripple Waves", has a very calming and soothing effect.

The reason for that is, because here the primary focus is "Stillness".

Since Zen is more about keeping quiet than elaborating, I would like to cut short on further details and simply provide the EXIF Data.

EXIF Data:

  • F-Stop: F/5.6

  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter Speed: 1/400

A Word on the Composition

The Photo falls under Minimalism as Less Elements category of Minimalist Photography. The only element here being the Ripples in Water though, the Photography is a bit Maximal in Nature.

We would not call it Minimalism as in Repeating Shapes because the Shapes, although look similar from a distance, but in fact each Water Ripple has its own unique shape.

I Hope you enjoyed the Shot.

Have a Nice Day !
