A Minimalist Photograph of a Triangle like shape made by Black Cloth, shot at a Kids Carnival at Jaipur City.

This shot was taken at a Kids Carnival that I thought I should attend, not because that I wanted to get onto some kids rides, but to snap out some nice Minimalist Photographs.

The area where I am standing was behind the tents, away from the swings/rides. 

I spotted this cloth pattern and tried to make sense of it. 

Since I am trained to see shapes, I could spot a Triangle like shape made by the Black cloth. I proceeded to take a few shots to give the frame some symmetry/balance and shape. 

Also, if you see in the back, there is some Light and Shadow combination. That further helped me compose this better. 

There wasn't a literal subject available here. I created the Black Cloth Triangle by the way I saw the pattern and by positioning myself appropriately.

Circle Vs White Arrow

A Black and White Minimalist Photo of a Circle versus the White Arrow at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur.

I have posted a Few Minimalist Shots using the White Arrow at Jawahar Kala Kendra, before.

This Shot was taken today i.e 5th of May 2019. I have been after the White Arrow like crazy. This is my 4th Shot of it and I might use this as a subject again.

PS: I follow this rule: 

Go to the same place, at different times, with different lenses, to get  different shots from the same place.

Today, I was using a the 24-105 mm lens. This shot was composed with the LCD Screen, as this frame required precision in composition.

My hands were raised above my shoulders and the camera was high up.

I adjusted my physical position multiple times, in all 4 directions aka left, right, forward and back, to get the placement on the subject and the alignments, right.

I took a total 7 Shots of this. I generally shoot in the RAW + JPEG image settings in the Camera.

So for every photo I click, there are two pictures. One RAW and One JPEG. I always keep RAW as a backup and try to edit the JPEG. Mostly JPEG's do the trick, but here, I had to process the RAW  image because the JPEG image here, lacked a bit of sharpness and detail.

I love Simple Geometry and this Image brings out a nice contrast between two Geometric shapes, aka Line and Circle. 

The Circle is on the foreground wall and the White Arrow, is actually on a far away wall.

I just aligned the two, and got them close together.

A Black and White Minimal Art Photograph of a Three Lamps and Three Birds, shot at a beautiful evening near Statue Circle, Jaipur.

This was captured today evening, while I was on my way to Curious Life Cafe. I stopped at Statue Circle as I noticed that it was getting dark and the lights were just getting turned on. 

The lights attracted me and I stopped at the circle holding the camera in my hand, waiting for birds to enter my frame. 

After about 6-7 minutes of wait, a few birds flew across my frame :)

Also, I kept some distance from the Street Lamps intentionally, as I wanted to show some distance in the frame, primarily in an attempt to make them look small.

And, I kept the image on the darker side during editing as I wanted the lights to stand out.

A Minimalist Photograph of Six Steps of one of the two Entrance Staircases at Hawa Mahal Jaipur.

This Minimal Art photograph is an improvement over the earlier Minimalist picture that I took at the same place of the same staircase "A Call from the Unknown". 

In the earlier photograph, there was a lot of Negative Space and was a very low angle shot. But in this Photograph, you see that I am shooting somewhat top-down and the amount of Negative Space is less. 

Also, by adding the 2 Steps turning towards the left and making them disappear after that, I have tried to create some sort of Mystery in the frame to engage the viewer. 

Because, I am showing Pure/Simple Geometry as a base in this Minimalist Photograph, therefore, I classified it under the Minimalism as Simple Geometry  category of Minimalist Photography.

Red Pipe Vs The Wire

A Minimalist Photograph of A Red Industrial Pipe versus the Black wire on a textured wall near Jaleb Chowk Old Jaipur City.

I first placed the Red Industrial Pipe aka the Water Outlet, on the bottom right of the frame with the Black Pipe towards its left. 

I later included a Red Orange Vertical Bar of the wall right next to the Black Wire (towards its left).

I placed this Minimalist Photograph under the Minimalism as Less Elements category of Minimalism for there is not much clutter here. 

This is the best part in Minimalist Photography.

You have to keep it Simple despite sometimes the elements being more in the frame. 

Some bit of Empty/ Negative Space to the right of the Red Pipe is intentionally kept.

I found this part of Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) newly painted. This is the Area at the front entrance. 

I usually enter JKK from the parking area, but today while I was on my way for the parking, I spotted this.

Thank you JKK for another Minimal Art Photograph.

As you can see from the composition, this Photograph is all about Lines and their interaction with a Small Pipe. 

Therefore I categorized this under Minimalism as Simple Geometry. (as lines dominate the frame).
