Hawa Mahal Jaipur

Minimalism as in Repeating Shapes

Hawa Mahal or the "Palace of Winds" was made for the women of royal households so that they could have a view of the activities that happened on the streets. It is one of the major tourist attractions of Jaipur. The architecture is very unique and it is a must visit place if you plan to come to Jaipur anytime soon. Of course I would love to play the host. I took this shot with the camera a little titled in my hand, with my right hand protruding outward while the left pushed in a bit. This helped me to get a descending depth in the frame from left to right if you carefully observe. The camera was held at a higher level than my face and it was only possible in the Live View Mode or the LCD screen mode.
